Nothing better to do, so I thought I'd put up Gardner v Byers US Nationals video. I've had several different interpretations of how the scoring should have been on the throw.  Let me know what your opinion is and why 1-2-3 points?????

2004 US Nationals - Williams/Heskitt Gut Wrench

Looking at tapes to see how the "new rules" would effect scoring. One thing the officials really got on at Sunkist was bridging or lack of it in Gut wrenches.  How would you score this Williams gut wrench of Joe Heskitt under the rules applied at Sunkist? How many points Williams? How many points Heskitt?? Why?

2004 US Nationals - Brock Pekin Lift

This one was worth sharing. This was Brock's first Nationals, prior to going he'd only wrestled Freestyle in two local meets. He had already wrestled Sanderson his first match.  So he decided to try some of the Greco we'd been throwing at him. Remember this is a Freestyle match.

2004 US Nationals - Fullhart Scoring on Sanderson

Here's one of Fullhart scoring on Sanderson while winning the title. The second clip is a request to show Sanderson getting turned.  I got too busy watching the match and didn't get the full turn on film...missed the last part of it.
